Trend Alert: Introduce the bodysuit to your wardrobe
The bodysuit was all the rage in the 80’s and 90’s and if you follow any celeb or fashion blogger on social media, it seems that they are making a huge comeback and are looking better than ever. Kim Kardashian has been the biggest trendsetter of the bodysuit and she looks amazing in them. They are a wonderful way to achieve a seamless and sexy silhouette look. The one piece is made for everyday wear; wear them in the office, on the weekend or out to dinner.
What I love the most about the bodysuit, is that you can layer without having that annoying tucked in bunching look that a blouse can give. They come in all styles and colors so you are sure to find one for every occasion. I now have a little selection in my wardrobe and absolutely love them.
If you’re not sure how you could pull the bodysuit off, I have put a few looks together that will ease your mind a little and entice you to go out there and give them a go. My tip would be opt for a basic black one first, it’s super versatile, on trend and looks great.
An Evening Event
The Savannah Bodysuit by Misha Collection is comfortable, elegant and easy to wear. It has a flattering cup style and I love the mid-arm bands. The gorgeous sweet heart neckline is soft and pairing it with flared pants would give it that classy finish. Team up with a nice gold high heel and a clutch bag.
Wear with denim
I love the simplicity of this Mia Thong Bodysuit. Dress it up with skinny leg jeans and throw on some boots or heels.
Team your bodysuit up with a nice structured blazer if you’re heading out to dinner.
Or create a more relaxed look with this double layered bodysuit teamed with some ripped boyfriends jeans.
Add some white sneakers for daywear and these lacoste court sneakers are classic and simple.
Dinner/Drinks
This Luna Bodysuit looks great with skinny jeans or a leather skirt teamed with heels. The tie up plunge, v front detail, gives it that edgy, dressy feel for a night out.Corporate Attire
This colour tone and ensemble is great for Spring. Wear this bodysuit by Miss Selfridge with a pencil skirt or some wide leg pants.
Pair your outfit up with a nice open toe heel and this style from Zomp is a great neutral colour and goes with just about anything.
So there you have it, easy to wear styles for any occasion.
