Mascara Love
Killer Curve, False Lash, Super Long Lash, Lash Injection, Clump Crusher, Better Than Sex, yes that is actually a mascara name. It’s not bad mascara but I do feel the name is a little misleading….
Arrrhhhh there are about 5 million mascaras on the market, obviously I have not tried them all. I have tried a few over the years and also asked other professional makeup artists and my girlfriends which are their favourites and why. I managed to narrow it down to the top three from inexpensive, mid range and a little on the pricey side.
Here are my recommendations:
Maxfactor 2000 Calorie Dramatic Volume and Curl $20.95
This would have to be my all time favourite mascara, I have used it just about every day for the past 15 years. I love it, it does everything! The curved brush lengthens, thickens and curls. And most importantly you can put on multiple layers without it clumping your lashes. The best part is it’s only $20.95!
Kevin Aucoin, The Volume Mascara $44
This award-winning mascara is not only long wearing, it’s also smudge proof which is really great for allergy sufferers and contact lens wearers. The skinny brush separates and defines every single lash without clumping or flaking. It is a little more at the pricey end at $44 but believe me it is worth every cent.
By Terry, Mascara Terrybly, Growth Boost Mascara $70
Not only does this little beauty lengthen, curl, increase volume and thicken lashes, it also has a lash-lengthening serum. Aside from making your lashes look absolutely fabulous, it is actually doing them some good by strengthening and lengthening as you wear it. It does come at a price, $70 to be exact, but if that’s the price for long flirty lashes I think it’s totally worth it.
So these are my top three. Which is your all time favourite mascara?
