Smart casual: 3 ways to style white jeans

By  |

White is fresh, smart and easy to combine.  Regardless of how tired we may be feeling, or how hectic our day has been, white has a way masking the hype for a fresher, smarter vibe.  My two go-to casual white pieces are the basic white tee (of course), but more importantly, jeans!

In general I wear high waisted jeans to make sure all the bits stay in, it’s my only secret to losing those love handles or muffin tops.  I’ve tried and tested the TMGR high waisted jeans, they fit well and are super comfortable as they have little stretch.  I’ve styled this perfect, basic jean in three smart casual ways, but the options are endless.

Throw on a cardi for comfort

Double denim, double the love.  Here I’ve styled the TMGR high waisted jeans with a printed denim tank.  To keep the afternoon chill at bay, I’ve smartened the look with a Country Road Longline Cardi in Navy.

Add an alternative jacket

This Aubrey jacket is super soft and comfortable. It’s easily layered with a white tee, fitted jeans and pointed pumps for an alternative smart casual style. Both pieces are versatile staples of a smart casual wardrobe and available to order at the TMGR shop at $59 each.

Try a smart blazer

Finally, pair these comfy jeans with a navy linen blazer for the smarter end of smart casual, as well as these shoes, bag and sunnies.

Do incorporate white into your wardrobe, for a fresh, smart look.
