The Mother’s Day Gift Guide

By  |

Mother’s Day is fast approaching and it’s time to start thinking ahead of what special gift to buy mum and show her how much you appreciate all that she does.

It can be a hard decision especially if she is fussy or simply just has everything. So here are my top picks of special gifts you can add to your list or maybe some ideas of things she simply doesn’t have.

I love all things initialed especially when it comes to jewelry. I think it’s just so classic and personal too. Linden Cook have some pretty necklaces which you can pre-order with your mum’s initial and they come in gold, rose gold and silver.

The ABC (2016) stated that coffee cups are considered to be the second largest category of litter waste after plastic water bottles. It is estimated that Australia contributes over 1 billion disposable coffee cups to landfill every year; adding significant pressure on the environment. So why not consider the environment and purchase a stylish, reusable coffee cup for your loved one this Mother’s Day. This particular brand (Uppercup) is my favourite as it is BPA and BPS free; and offers a durable glass-like frame that is not only odour and stain resistant, but also dishwasher safe. Available in a small ($22 RRP) and large ($25 RRP) and in a range of colours.

You can’t go past a beautiful floral scent especially when it’s made by Chanel. I love the new fragrance Gabrielle; it’s not too overpowering and sits beautifully on the skin.

Prices start from $134-$248.

Speaking of scents, these gorgeous and deliciously smelling candles and diffusers from Enbacci will freshen up any room. Both products include notes of citrus fruits, green tea and bergamot. The candle ($65 RRP) and diffuser ($55 RRP) are available nationally via Enbacci’s online store, and at their flagship store in Melbourne.

I love everything about this next product and your mum will too! This smoothing face serum by Resibo, is a small bottle full of concentrated, specially selected natural ingredients of proven skin rejuvenating effects. It plumps, fills and smooths out uneven skin texture. The serum also serves as a healing oil by reducing discolouration and inhibiting sebum oxidation. You only need  few drops for each application so the bottle lasts a while. At $59.99 it’s a winner!

A new watch is always nice to receive and Daniel Wellington does have some classic styles. Whether she loves material, metal or a leather band, they have you covered.

Still stuck? Why not treat your mum to a facial or massage at the Crown. They have spa packages to accommodate any budget.

Happy Mother’s Day.  xx
